    2. Es un buen libro dificil de catalogar como novela, pero es interesante leer el testimonio de mi compatriota Jorge Edwards. Sobre todo porque vivía en Chile el periodo en que se desarrollan los hechos narrados por el escritor y son todos reales, la presencia de los hermanos Castro en Cuba y el bloqueo Americano cosas que a pesar de los años, aun continúan vigentes. Es un buen libro para una persona con mentalidad política abierta y que tiene interés en entender las dictaduras izquierdistas. [...]

    3. I lost interest in the book it was insipid and boring. It would have been more interesting if it included some anecdotes about every day life. It did have some good historical facts for those that were not in Cuba and lived it. Might be better received by outsiders.
