    2. A very basic thesaurus that does not give many synonyms per word. Emphasizes meanings of the synonyms it does give so is much like a dictionary for learners. If you have a dictionary it is extra baggage you don;t need. It seems more like a middle school level than a book or CD that would be useful for most high school students or particularly college students.

    3. I can definitely recommend this thesaurus. The CD comes in handy since you can look up words easily on your computer and it covers most the "everyday" words you need.

    4. This book not only lists words with similar meanings but also points out their differences. Furthermore, patterns and collocations of words are also helpful for learners. I would like to say that this is the book that I really need.

    5. Bought this for the CD-ROM so that I could have a handy Thesaurus to refer to without flipping physical pages. Doesn't seem comprehensive enough, and have not compared the content with other Thesaurus. But the CD-ROM version is what I got this for, and it does provide what I wanted. I still check online when I need words not included herein.
